ActiPatch® review policy
Who can review
Reviews come from people who used the device, including people who bought it from our store, people who bought it elsewhere and people who received it from the company. Anyone who has used ActiPatch® may submit a review, and we may also send a review link to someone who has used it. Every review is published only after approval by Erik or Nev. No one is paid or asked to write a positive review.
What a review shows
Every approved review is shown the same way: the reviewer’s first and last name, city and state (or region and country outside the US), a date, the star rating and the review text. The date shown is the date the reviewer gave for their experience and may be earlier than the date the review was submitted. Reviews appear newest first by that date. Your email address, order number, any receipt, how you got the device and your disclosure answers are never shown publicly.
Ratings
Average ratings, review counts and rating bars appear once at least five reviews have been approved, and they include every approved review. Until then, approved reviews are listed without an average.
Disclosures
Each reviewer must answer whether they have a relationship with Electrome or the ActiPatch® brand, and whether they received anything of value for their review. If either answer is yes, the reviewer must describe it. Erik and Nev read these answers before deciding whether to approve a review.
No incentives
We offer no payment, discounts, free product or other incentives for reviews. Anything provided in exchange for a review must be disclosed. A personal gift unrelated to writing a review is not a review incentive.
Negative reviews
Positive and negative reviews publish under the same rules, regardless of star rating. We do not delay or remove reviews because they describe a disappointing experience.
Moderation and annotations
Every submission stays private until Erik or Nev reviews and approves it. We check claims, privacy, profanity and disclosures regardless of rating. Approval publishes the review on ActiPatch.com; rejection keeps it private. Reviews may carry this note: “Individual experiences vary. ActiPatch® is FDA cleared for adjunctive treatment of musculoskeletal pain.” A disclaimer is not a substitute for checking a claim. We do not rewrite a customer’s account. Electrome may post a clearly labeled reply.
Longer stories
Reviewers may optionally consent to share a longer story or photo. Stories are only considered for featuring with the author’s explicit consent, are reviewed separately, and carry the same disclosures as the review.
Manufacturer testimonials and personal experiences are separately attributed accounts, not store reviews, and are not included in ratings. Individual results vary. ActiPatch® is FDA cleared under K192234 for adjunctive treatment of musculoskeletal pain.
